We had another spring blizzard up here in Northern Minnesota last week with high winds and over 13 inches of new snow. It was a powerful one. After the storm passed through, a calm came over our campus at St. Francis Lodge, our little respite on Beautiful Lake George (www.stfrancislodge.org ). At 7:00 AM on Sunday morning, April 14th, I looked out towards the lake down on the outdoor altar, under snow, and took this picture of the cross, after the storm, “Still Standing”. Very profound.
