I truly have a new found respect for professional “voice over” talent after spending nearly 6 months and over 120 hours in a studio recording my memoir. After nearly 20 years since I wrote my memoir, “Did I ever thank you, Sister?’, I was encouraged to put it down on audio, since it seems to be the new trend in books. Honestly, I wasn’t crazy about it and I find my voice unappealing. However, I was told a memoir has more meaning if it is in the actual voice of the person who wrote it. So, please bear with me.
Below is a link to YouTube with a sample audio of what it sounds like. It will be on all audio platforms very soon. Please give me your feedback, if you can find a few minutes to listen. Thank you. Sal
